Lately In the news i have been hearing about " Hannah Montana" being the butt of a few of Jamie Foxx's jokes on his radio show on SIRIUS. This has been a major spot on several news shows when it occurred. First of all let me address the fact that Jamie Foxx is a comedian and those are jokes. Mr. Foxx has made jokes about some of the most prominent public figures including celebrities and political figures. First of all no one should take what a comedian takes seriously. It is all fun and games. The argument found on most fronts is the girls age, she is to young to be the butt of such jokes. In my opinion if she is old enough to be a celebrity then she is old enough to be in the spotlight and take the criticisms that come with that positions. People need to back off of jamie he is an extremly talented peoson and deserves all the props that we can give him. People who actually listened to the radio show that day the bit he did about Miley was actually very funny.
On another note, this is a big part of the growing epidemic of entertainment news. The few select companies that own all the news networks are more concerned with the ratings than providing the news that actually means something. There are so many issues that are going own in the world, more importantly locally that we do not need to waste time on entertainment news. How can the people of the United States really be informed on the issues when it comes time to vote when they have been wasting time on Brittney Spears latest rehab stint or the latest celebrity sex tape. It is my "worldly dream" that the people of the united states start to eventually move towards more meaningful news and away from news programs that dont mean anything. WHO CARES ABOUT CELEBRITIES LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
